Lighting is one of the most critical elements in a vision system and is in fact key to achieve stable and repeatable results .
The lighting conditions must be optimized to the maximum so that a camera can capture an image that the human eye could
distinguish without the need for such specialized lighting.
This becomes much more evident when the object to be illuminated has complex shapes, or very reflective surfaces.
